Dentists

Dr. Eric S. Rackley, DMD
Cosmetic Dentist in Greenville
Dr. Rackley has been serving patients in the Upstate since 2017 and joined our practice in May 2018. As he often says, “I’m not from here, but I got here as soon as I could!” A proud alumnus of Clemson University, Dr. Rackley told his parents in the seventh grade that he wanted to go to Clemson one day and leave the snowy winters of Pittsburgh behind. After graduating from the Clemson Honors College, he earned his Doctor of Dental Medicine (DMD) degree at the Medical University of South Carolina, finishing among the top of his class. Dedicated to providing exceptional care, Dr. Rackley values compassion, open communication, and treating every patient as part of the Vineyard Dental family.

Dr. Keenan W. Smith, DMD
Family Dentist in Greenville
A Greenville native, Dr. Smith attended Wade Hampton High School and earned a Bachelor of Science in Mathematics at Clemson University. For eight years, he worked as an actuary with prominent life insurance firms in both North Carolina and South Carolina. Despite his success in corporate finance, Dr. Smith longed to make a more direct impact on people’s lives, leading him to recognize dentistry as his true calling. At the age of 31, he entered the Medical University of South Carolina, where he was an active member of the Psi Omega Dental Service Fraternity. In 2007, he graduated among the top of his class.
Administrative Assistants

Ashleigh
Ashleigh has called Greenville home for the past 14 years and has spent 18 years building a career in the dental field. Since joining our team in 2021 as an administrative assistant, she enjoys meeting new patients, helping them feel welcome, and guiding them through their treatment with care and clarity. Building long-lasting relationships and ensuring patients feel supported every step of the way is what she loves most about her role.
Ashleigh graduated from Converse College in 2007 with a degree in Creative Writing. Outside of work, theatre remains one of her greatest passions. While it’s been a decade since she last performed, she still enjoys attending local productions and events at the Peace Center whenever she can. She also loves traveling with her family and exploring new restaurants around Greenville.
Ashleigh lives with her two daughters, their cat Mr. Poodles, and their dog Lucy. She’s grateful to be part of a supportive and fun team, and says that working alongside Dr. Smith and Dr. Rackley makes the office feel like a second home.

Genna
Though new to dentistry, Genna brings a natural gift for hospitality and organization to our administrative team. She’s passionate about helping patients feel welcomed and supported from the moment they walk in, to the moment they leave, creating a smooth and positive experience every step of the way.
Her approach to patient care is grounded in kindness and communication. She believes trust is built by being approachable, empathetic, and transparent, and always making sure patients feel heard and respected.
Originally from a small town near Buffalo, NY, Genna now calls Greenville home and loves the energy of downtown and the year-round outdoor lifestyle. Outside of work, she enjoys running (she’s completed three half marathons and is training for a full!), spending time with her dogs, Lola and Knox, and being with her fiancé.
If she could have any superpower, it would be the ability to instantly heal others – a reflection of her caring nature. Her favorite piece of advice? “Focus on progress, not perfection” (a motto she lives by both personally and professionally).

Sarah
With 21 years of experience in dentistry (including seven years as a dental assistant), Sarah brings knowledge, compassion, and dedication to her role and has been a valued part of our practice for 15 years. She’s passionate about building trust with patients, learning their goals, and creating long-term relationships through honest and transparent communication.
She enjoys working closely with patients to ensure their needs are anticipated, their questions are answered, and they feel respected and heard every step of the way. Her goal is to equip patients with the knowledge they need to make confident, informed decisions about their dental care.
Outside the office, you’ll find Sarah cheering on her kids at the ballfield, hiking, camping, or recharging in the mountains. A loyal Braves fan and creative at heart, she also enjoys sewing in her spare time.
If she could have any superpower, it would be the ability to fly, as seeing the view from a new perspective can change everything. Her favorite advice? “Do the next right thing.” Life often presents us with overwhelming choices, and sometimes the best thing we can do is focus on that next single step.

Shannon
Shannon joined our team a year and a half ago and while new to the dental field, she brings a friendly face and a kind heart to the front desk.
She loves meeting new patients and catching up with familiar faces, making everyone feel right at home from the moment they walk through the door.
Her approach to patient care is simple: talk, listen, and connect. She enjoys learning about patients’ life experiences and strives to anticipate their needs before they even have to ask, ensuring every visit feels smooth, comfortable, and personal.A lifelong Greenville native, Shannon now lives in Fountain Inn with her husband, Scott. She loves spending time with her family, especially her grandchildren, Callen and Landon. Outside of work, you can find her cheering on Clemson football, walking around downtown Fountain Inn, or staying active in her church and community.
If she could have a superpower, it would be the ability to be in more than one place at once – a fitting wish for someone so dedicated to the people around her. Her favorite advice? “Take the time to enjoy the little things.”
Dental Assistants

Anna
With over five years of experience in the dental field (including front office, orthodontic, and general assisting), Anna brings versatility and compassion to every patient interaction. She holds certifications in sterile processing, CPR, radiation safety, nitrous oxide, and has experience as a CNA.
Anna loves helping restore what’s broken, whether it’s a tooth or a patient’s confidence. She builds trust through genuine connection and takes pride in creating a comfortable, supportive environment, and especially loves getting to know patients and hearing their stories.
Outside the office, Anna enjoys spending time with her husband and two children, exploring nature, practicing yoga, baking, and learning about different cultures. She also loves horseback riding, snowboarding, and traveling. A cancer survivor, her journey has given her a powerful sense of empathy and strength that she brings to all she does.
If she could have any superpower, it would be the ability to heal, something she already strives for in her care. Her favorite advice? “Always love. Be happy. Be grateful.”

Autumn
Autumn has been a Certified Dental Assistant since 2016 and joined our team after relocating from Clarksville, TN to the Upstate in 2018. She enjoys the variety that dentistry offers, especially the opportunity to help patients feel comfortable, valued, and cared for. Autumn is passionate about delivering high-quality care and is proud to be part of a friendly, dedicated team that prioritizes patient experience.

Heather
With six years of dental experience, Heather is passionate about creating a safe, stress-free and welcoming space for every patient. Having worked in pediatric dentistry, she brings a calm and reassuring presence to the office, using the “show, tell, do” approach to ensure patients feel informed and comfortable every step of the way. She finds joy in helping patients overcome dental fears and values the chance to educate the next generation on oral health.
Heather holds certifications in CDA, ICE, CPR, and OSHA, credentials she pursued to reflect her commitment to dental assisting as a true profession, not just a job. She takes pride in continuing her education and staying current in the field to provide the best care possible.
Originally from a small town in Connecticut, she moved to the Upstate of South Carolina in 2024 and enjoys hiking, snowboarding, and spending time with her dogs. If she could have any superpower, she’d choose teleportation, making travel (and long flights) a thing of the past. Her favorite piece of advice? “Let them, and live life to the fullest.”

Laura
With over 22 years of experience in the dental field and joining our team in 2016, Laura brings a deep passion for patient care and connection to every appointment. She finds the most joy in building relationships with patients and helping even the most anxious visitors leave feeling confident, comfortable, and cared for. Her approach is simple but powerful: build trust through kindness, open-mindedness and truly listen to patients’ needs. She holds certifications in CDA, CPR, OSHA, N2O, and RHS, and actively pursues continuing education throughout the year to stay current and provide the highest level of care.
Outside the office, you’ll likely find her in Chapel Hill cheering on the TarHeels with her family (Go Heels!). She also enjoys everything the Greenville area has to offer, but especially the small-town charm of Greer, which reminds her of home. A fun fact? She loves collecting shark teeth.
If she could have any superpower, it would be the ability to fly, because “that would be freaking awesome!” Her favorite advice? “Always expect obstacles, because being prepared makes them easier to face.”

She and her family love living in Greenville, especially for the area’s variety of family-friendly activities. Any chance she gets, Jamie enjoys sneaking away for quick trips with her boys to make lasting memories.

Sonya

Her goal is always to help patients feel seen, heard, and well cared for.Outside the office, she loves hiking, board games, spontaneous adventures, and spending quality time with her family. A true dog lover, she has a soft spot for four-legged friends.
If she could choose a superpower, it would be the ability to freeze time so the best moments could last just a little longer. Her favorite piece of advice? “Give people the benefit of the doubt; you never know what someone else is going through.”

Tami
Tami comes to us from way out west, northern California, joining us in the upstate in early 2020 with her husband, a children’s dentist, and two adult children. A practicing dental hygienist for 28 years, she received her BSDH from Loma Linda University School of Dentistry. She enjoys making patients feel comfortable in the dental chair and educating them on good oral hygiene with tips and habits that are realistic for them.
